Experience in European industry
Car plants in Tangier and Kenitra, aerospace and electronics in Casablanca. Candidates know line takt, quality control and the safety standards European customers expect.

Morocco manufactures for European automotive, aerospace and electronics groups, and its OFPPT system graduates hundreds of thousands of technicians every year. We run the whole process: recruitment and diploma verification, the labour market test, the type A permit, the national D visa in Rabat, plus relocation and onboarding in Poland.
Morocco · North Africa
Morocco is one of Europe's key manufacturing bases. Tangier and Kenitra host car plants and hundreds of tier suppliers, Casablanca an aerospace and electronics cluster, and Agadir with the Souss-Massa region greenhouse agriculture exporting to the European Union. A candidate from such a plant already knows EU quality standards, line takt and production discipline before setting foot in a Polish facility.
The skills base comes from OFPPT – the largest vocational network in North Africa, with over three hundred centres and curricula designed together with industry. Diplomas at the Qualification, Technicien and Technicien Spécialisé levels are issued in French after a practical exam, so credentials can genuinely be verified rather than taken on trust.
Proximity is a hard advantage here. A flight from Casablanca to Warsaw takes around four and a half hours, the time difference is one hour, and tickets cost far less than from South Asia. Lower relocation costs and easy staged arrivals make Morocco a strong fit when you need to fill entire shifts in batches.
Formally the origin requires the full route: a labour market test, a type A work permit issued by the voivode and a national D visa filed at the Polish Embassy in Rabat or the application centre in Casablanca. One coordinator runs the whole process, and the realistic time from contract to the first day at work is 3 to 5 months.

Car plants in Tangier and Kenitra, aerospace and electronics in Casablanca. Candidates know line takt, quality control and the safety standards European customers expect.
Qualification, Technicien and Technicien Spécialisé credentials issued in French and verifiable with the issuing body. We check them rather than simply accepting a scan.
Around 4.5 hours of flight and one hour of time difference. Cheaper tickets and easy staged arrivals make it simpler to fill a shift in several batches.
French is the language of technical education and documentation, English is common in export clusters and Spanish in the north. Technical documentation is not a barrier.
Mechanics, electricians, CNC operators, welders and fitters with real plant experience. This origin suits companies looking for qualifications, not just headcount.
Souss-Massa and Agadir supply vegetables and fruit to the European Union. Candidates know greenhouses, harvesting, packhouses and cold stores under export regimes.
Qualifications
Each candidate profile includes a scan of the OFPPT diploma, an employment history with named plants, references, an assessment of French and English, and – for technical trades – documentation of a practical skills test.
OFPPT diplomas and qualification levels
Spécialisation, Qualification, Technicien and Technicien Spécialisé – each level ends with a practical exam. We confirm the document with the issuing body and provide a sworn translation into Polish.
Experience in export plants
We verify work with named employers in Tangier, Kenitra, Casablanca and Fez: automotive, wiring harnesses, electronics, aerospace and textiles. References are confirmed by phone.
Technical permits and practical test
Weld samples with photographic documentation and visual assessment still in Morocco, machine tests for operators, and licence category plus route experience checks for drivers.
Language level
A video interview assessing French and, where relevant, English. We describe the level concretely: following instructions, talking to a supervisor, dealing with guests or clients.
The region of origin translates directly into a candidate's professional profile.
Casablanca and Settat
The country's largest industrial hub: electronics, aerospace, chemicals, port logistics and services. It also holds the widest technician pool and the visa application centre.
Tangier and Tetouan
Free zone and automotive: assembly, wiring harnesses, plastics and logistics towards Europe. Candidates used to shift work under quality audits.
Kenitra and Rabat
The new automotive cluster and its suppliers: line operators, maintenance mechanics, quality inspectors. Rabat hosts the Polish Embassy handling visas.
Fez and Meknes
Traditional crafts, construction, furniture and food processing. A good source of carpenters, fitters, welders and finishing trades.
Agadir and Souss-Massa
Greenhouse agriculture and fish processing exporting to the European Union, plus tourism and hospitality at international standard.
Marrakesh
Hospitality and catering serving European guests: chefs, kitchen assistants, waiters and housekeeping with chain-hotel experience.
We run the process in five stages: consultation, quote and contract; recruitment and pre-selection in Morocco; labour market test and type A permit; documents and the national D visa in Rabat; relocation and onboarding. Each stage has a clear deadline and a complete document set.

We do not quote a single price per worker – the budget depends on the role, headcount and region. With Morocco the transport line is clearly lower: a short flight from Casablanca costs a fraction of a South Asian ticket, and arrivals can be staged without inflating costs. The two biggest schedule drivers are the voivode's decision time and visa slot availability in Rabat – both are built into the quote from day one.

Industries
This origin is chosen where technical skills and readiness to work to European quality standards matter. Moroccan plants have supplied EU groups for years, so candidates are not learning production culture for the first time in Poland.
Tangier and Kenitra host car plants and hundreds of suppliers. Candidates know assembly, line takt, quality control and automotive customer audits.
The Casablanca aerospace cluster and wiring plants require precision, microscope work and technical documentation. Candidates are used to strict quality regimes.
Large infrastructure programmes, high-speed rail and housing gave candidates experience on major sites and in finishing works.
Tanger Med is one of the largest container terminals in the Mediterranean. A real base of warehouse staff and forklift operators.
Souss-Massa and Agadir export vegetables, fruit and fish to the European Union. Candidates know greenhouses, packhouses, cold stores and export standards.
Marrakesh and Agadir serve European guests in chain hotels. Chefs and staff experienced in international cuisine and chain standards.
If the shortest lead time is your priority, Georgia is faster. We choose Morocco where technical qualifications and a cheap, short transfer matter most.
Roles
This origin performs best in industrial production, maintenance, construction and logistics. For technical trades we run a practical skills test before any hiring decision.

A comparison of typical differences in process and candidate profile.
| Criterion | Morocco | Other origins |
|---|---|---|
| Language | French in industry and education, often English, Spanish in the north | English (Philippines, Uganda) or a crew leader needed |
| Candidate profile | Automotive, electronics, maintenance, construction, export agriculture | More often general manual work or narrow specialisation |
| Legal basis | Type A permit and national D visa in Rabat | PUP declaration (Georgia) or A + DOLAB (Vietnam) |
| Process time | 3–5 months | 3–6 weeks (Georgia) or 4–6 months (Uganda) |
| Relocation cost | Low – around 4.5 h of flight and one hour of time difference | Higher for Asian and East African origins |

Cultural integration
Moroccan teams settle in quickly when a few things are set up from the start. Below are four points that in practice decide whether the first year runs without turnover.
French, Polish and documentation
French works from day one with technical documentation and engineering staff, but the crew speaks Polish. Bilingual workstation instructions and a basic Polish course after arrival noticeably shorten the distance within the team.
Food and meals
Most candidates eat halal and do not consume pork. An alternative canteen dish or kitchen access after the shift resolves it entirely, without changing the menu for the whole plant.
Ramadan and shift planning
During Ramadan it is worth shifting break times or easing the schedule on the heaviest roles. The month is known a year ahead, so it is easy to plan alongside the production schedule.
Residence and banking formalities
Registration, PESEL, a bank account and the residence card application fill the first weeks. The coordinator books appointments and tracks deadlines so residence legality never lapses.
Short answers to questions about recruiting workers from Morocco.
Yes. Morocco is not covered by the simplified declaration procedure, so a type A work permit issued by the voivode is required, followed by a national D visa. Moroccan citizens file visa applications at the Polish Embassy in Rabat and its partner application centre in Casablanca. We prepare the entire file on the employer's side.
Realistically 3 to 5 months from signing the contract to the first day at work. The labour market test and type A permit usually take 6 to 12 weeks, sworn translations and legalisation another 2 to 4 weeks, and the visa procedure in Rabat 4 to 8 weeks. It is one of the faster non-European origins, partly thanks to the short flight and the one-hour time difference.
Arabic and Amazigh are the official languages, but French is the language of technical schooling, documentation and industry – most OFPPT graduates use it. In the automotive and aerospace clusters a fair share of candidates also speak English, and in the north Spanish is common. We assess each person on a video call and describe the level in their profile.
In most cases yes – the district governor issues a statement that local recruitment is not possible. Exemptions cover occupations on the regional shortage list, which often includes welders, CNC operators, mechanics, electricians and construction trades. We check this at the start because it drives the schedule.
The backbone is OFPPT – the largest vocational training network in North Africa, with the Spécialisation, Qualification, Technicien and Technicien Spécialisé levels. Diplomas are issued in French after a practical exam, and the curricula are built with industry: automotive, aerospace, electronics, mechanics and construction.
We verify OFPPT diplomas with the issuing body and provide sworn translations. For welders we run weld samples with visual assessment before departure and close the EN ISO 9606-1 exam after arrival in Poland. For operators we handle UDT permits, and for drivers licence exchange and initial qualification.
Automotive and precision manufacturing, electronics and assembly, construction and installations, logistics and warehousing, greenhouse agriculture, plus catering and hospitality. Morocco has produced for the European market for decades – candidates already know EU quality standards, line takt and safety procedures.
Yes, and it matters in practice. A flight from Casablanca to Warsaw takes around 4.5 hours, the time difference is one hour, and tickets cost noticeably less than from South Asia. Lower relocation costs make staged arrivals easy and speed up filling a shift in several batches.
Candidates are used to plants supplying European customers: punctuality, production plans and quality control. They value clear hierarchy, specific instructions and respectful communication. One practice worth planning for is Ramadan – shifting break times or easing the schedule during that month usually resolves it entirely.
Employer or agency provided accommodation is the standard. We arrange the flight from Casablanca or Marrakesh, airport transfer, housing that meets sanitary requirements, registration, a PESEL number and a bank account. A coordinator is present for the first formalities and the health and safety training.
A type A permit is usually issued for up to three years and can be extended. After arrival the worker can apply for a single permit for residence and work, which keeps employment continuous without leaving Poland.
The budget covers Polish administrative fees, the visa and service fee in Rabat or Casablanca, translations and legalisation, medicals and insurance, the flight and relocation, onboarding and the agency fee. Transport is clearly cheaper than for Asian origins. We quote per specific role and headcount – with no hidden items.
